Kelly Knoll is the 16-year-old daughter of Pat and Cindy Knoll of Mandan, and is an 11th grade honor student at Mandan High School. She is a member of the North Dakota High School Rodeo Association, Mandan Horse and Saddle Club, and the New Salem Saddle Club. She competes in pole bending, barrel racing and the queen contest.Kelly was recently crowned as the 2017 NDHS Rodeo Queen, winning the categories of horsemanship, written test, public interview, private interview, modeling and appearance.She proudly represented North Dakota at the High School National Finals in Gillette, WY where she was the first runner-up in the national queen contest. Kelly was also the winner of the speech competition.Kelly would like to thank the many generous sponsors who support ND High School Rodeo. She would also like to thank her parents, her brother Riley, her sister Abby, and sister-in-law Ashlie for all the love and support they have shown her every day of her life.
